Happy new year! No, I'm not kidding, nor am I three and a half months early! September often really does feel like the new year. School starts. Regular ministries at King Road start again. People come back from holidays (only to leave for hunting trips!) There is a sense of excitement in the air.
So, I simply want to inform you of the plan for the next month or so in the morning worship services. First of all, September 12 is our kick-off Sunday, one service at 10:00 a.m. Our church picnic follows immediately afterward at Jackson Elementary. (full details can be found on the church website).
In the German services, the preaching series in 1 John will continue. In the English services, we will be revisiting our ministry model. Each week a different core ministry will be highlighted. Children's ministries, Youth Ministries, Care Groups, Local Missions, and Global Missions. We will hear testimonies from those involved. We will be reminded of the road God is leading us as a congregation along.
Join us! September 19th Sunday School (for all ages) and supervised child care resume again. Come and participate.
Blessings!
Leonard
