Haiti Response

Ten days ago, life for many people in Haiti drastically changed. As I'm sure you would agree, watching the news and seeing the pictures has broken our hearts and stirred a desire to respond. This is a good thing, as scripture is full of encouragements to show compassion, love, feed the hungry... As a congregation, we are committed to responding.

The numbers I heard this morning are staggering...200,000 deceased; 250,000 injured; and 2,000,000 homeless. Unimaginable, but every small response is a way of providing hope and encouragement and showing God's love. So, please pray, consider a financial donation, pray, volunteer to help shop for food, pray, write an encouragement note, and pray again.

Toward a Ministry Model (Draft)

Hello one and all. Tonight a group of King Road members met to discuss and prayerfully consider the initial draft for a Ministry Model for our congregation.
