"The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us..." John 1:14a
It's Christmas! Christmas is accompanied by concerts, banquets, trees, decorations, sometimes snow, (often too much) baking, busyness, joy, gifts...but what about the impatience, debt, loneliness, and despair that often tag along uninvited? The reality of Christmas highlights the tension we often find ourselves living with here on earth. Yet, into this hurting world and our broken lives, God sent His Son! This is why we celebrate. "The Word became flesh...glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom His favour rests!"
Welcome to the King Road Church blog. As a pastoral team, we have decided to expand our online presence, and this blog is one way we are doing so. Thanks for stopping by. Explore. Feel free to follow us on Twitter. Check out our Facebook page. We'll try and post some events and happenings, but our goal is much more than simply sharing information. We invite you to join a conversation...perhaps by typing a reply (or sending a note), or simply by reading, or even over a cup of coffee or tea. Know that we desire to walk with and support you in your walk with Jesus.
So, drop us a line. Post a reply. Offer us some feedback. Let us know how we can pray for you.
Blessings! On behalf of the team,
Leonard
